You are probably here because you would like our help to find a highly skilled, digital candidate for a business development, an e-business, a user experience or a marketing or communications position in your organisation. Or you are a candidate wanting to be matched with a great digital job within either of those fields. Or maybe you are here because you would like to serve on an advisory board, be a mentor or a mentee or any other business opportunity within the digital field.Whether a client or candidate, we in Induce would like you to know how we handle the personal data that comes into our hands during a recruitment process or when you visit our website or use any of our other services.

2. Purpose of data processing

In order for us at Induce to help match organisations (client) and candidates with the best possible opportunities, jobs or otherwise, we need some information about you.

Client:

If you are a client or potential client, we process your data in order to provide you with the best possible advice on recruitment and related topics (with the purpose of entering a contract).
We process data about your identity, contact and professional data, such as your name, email, phone, position, information about our business relation as well as payment information when entering a contract. The legal basis for this is the GDPR article 6, 1 (b).

Candidates:

If you are a candidate or potential candidate, we process your data in order to match you with a job (with the purpose of our client entering an employment contract with you) or other career opportunities according to the interests expressed on your profile on our candidate platform, Elvium. We process data about your identity, contact and professional data, such as your name, email, phone, address, work experience (roles and number of years in each role), your personality (as you submit soft skills) as well as your preferences for future jobs and types of organisations, The legal basis for this is the GDPR article 6, 1 (a). We do not process any sensitive data about you like ethnicity, sexuality, health etc. and nor do we process any data about your criminal record.).You can, at all times, delete your profile. We will always ask for your expressed consent prior to us taking out references on you.

Induce newsletter:
When you sign up to our online newsletter, we process your name, e-mail, position and company. The legal basis for this is the GDPR article 6, 1 (a). We only use your personal data for marketing purpose when you have given your expressed consent according to GDPR article 6, 1 (a). You may, at any time, unsubscribe.

Induce.dk:

In order to use or access parts of our website, induce.dk, we need you to part with certain personal data. E.g. if you send a message to us via the website forms, we need our name and email in order to send you a reply.

3. Receivers

In some instances we will share your personal data with our service providers, i.e. the IT-provider of Elvium etc. These providers process personal data solely on behalf of Induce and according to our instructions.

Induce does not transfer your personal data to countries outside the EU.

5. Security

We strive to put in place every measure to secure your personal data. Consequently, we have internal procedures and policies that ensure that we comply with the GDPR demands for appropriate technical and organisational security measures.

6. Storage and deletion

We will delete your personal data once we no longer have a processing need according to the purposes outlined above. Special legal requirements, e.g. the Danish Financial Statements Act, requires us to keep personal data on client (i.e. contracts) with client for up to five years. Personal data on candidates, on the basis of the candidates expressed consent, will be kept for up to six months in Elvium. You will then be asked to reactivate your profile. If you don’t, your profile will be deleted from Elvium. As part of Induce’s contract with a client, the client is required to delete all personal data on all candidates for the specific job at the end of a recruitment process.
Any correspondence with candidates on either email or any files that a candidate has sent to us will be deleted no more than three months after the end of a given recruitment process.

We may from time to time post links on our website to other websites. Induce is not responsible for the content on other companies’ websites or how they handle personal data.

9. Changes to Induce’s data privacy policy

We reserve the right to change this data privacy policy due to significant changes in the GDPR or related legislation, or due to new technical solutions and new or improved functionalities to our website or Elvium.
